Model : PerkinElmer LAMBDA 365

Rapid absorbance analysis for water and wastewater testing.

The PerkinElmer LAMBDA 365 is a high-performance UV/Vis spectrophotometer delivering rapid, accurate absorbance and transmittance measurements across a wide wavelength range. Its dual-beam design and pre-aligned optics ensure exceptional stability and reproducibility for environmental, waste, and water quality analysis.

Overview

Our center is equipped with a PerkinElmer LAMBDA 365 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, a versatile instrument for quantifying organic and inorganic compounds in liquid samples. The system’s pre-aligned tungsten and deuterium sources, combined with a high-resolution monochromator, provide reliable performance from routine colorimetric tests to advanced kinetic studies.

This instrument supports precise determination of nutrients, contaminants, and indicator parameters in water, soil extracts, and waste leachates, forming a cornerstone of our analytical chemistry and circular economy assessment capabilities.

What It Measures

The spectrophotometer measures the amount of light absorbed or transmitted by a sample at specific wavelengths, following the Beer-Lambert law for concentration determination.

All devices are operated within standardized laboratory workflows to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with analytical standards.
